In addition to the above articles Stewart Coffin's AP-ART-The Sculptural Art That Comes Apart is available. It is a complete compendium and history of puzzles he designed and produced. Also, included are listings of the instructions, descriptions and other printed matter he has produced. And more!
The 1985 edition of Puzzle Craft was personally published by Stewart as a 100-page 8 1/2 by 11 inch booklet. It was the predecessor to The Puzzling World of Polyhedral Dissections, which is now out of print and very difficult to find. There is considerable duplication of material between the two.
The 1992 version of Puzzle Craft is an 80-page 8 1/2 by 11 inch booklet of mostly new material with a focus on showing how to make his puzzles. It also contains several new puzzles. It contains details for constructing jigs and woodworking.
Both are available in PDF format. The PDF file preserves the original paper format and appearance. You will need Acrobat Reader to view and print the PDF files. It can be downloaded for free from Adobe.
