The wanderer (the laminated piece) fits into the frame in only through only one window and in only one orientation. It can then be immediately rotated (2nd photograph) through two adjacent windows (left and up, in this case) if the two pegs have corresponding slots in the frame. Or it can be pushed straight through the opposite window (3rd photograph) which changes the orientation of the wanderer and where the pegs meet the frame. After making a few random moves, it becomes quite difficult to get the wanderer out again. I have only done it by accident! This is a very nice new puzzle from Oskar.
