| These puzzles have been made in Europe since the 1920's. Wyatt included instructions for making one in Puzzles In Wood, first published in 1928. There are two problems to be solved. First, where is the key? Second, Where is the keyhole. In the bottom photograph, the key was located in a compartment behind the sliding "pages". Sliding the bottom book rearward allows the little book spine in the center to drop down revealing the keyhole. | ||
