12.75 × 18.75 inches - 527 laser-cut pieces from 0.25 inch plywood

Princess Hyacinth is one of Mucha's most popular works.

This is a poster advertising the performance of a popular actress, Andula Sedláčková, who starred in the title role of Oskar Nedbal's ballet-pantomime, Princess Hyacinth. It premiered in 1911 at the National Theater in Prague.

If you look carefully, you can see some objects in the circular blue part of the print, including a crown, some blacksmith's tools, sorcery objects, and a couple more. All objects from the ballet-pantomime.

The framed print was purchased at the Paris flea market while attending the International Puzzle Party (mechanical puzzles, not jigsaws) in 2017. It is hanging in our home.

This puzzle was discontinued for a while, but now (August 2020) is availble again. If tempted to buy one on eBay, be aware that this puzzlewas given a new cut in 2012.
