The Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition was established in 2001 to promote and recognize innovative new designs of mechanical puzzles. The seventeeth annual competition begins this year, with judging and awards at IPP38 (August 2018). See the full details using the following links.
The 2017 Competition Results
- 66 puzzles entered; the 2017 Competition Entries page includes images, and descriptions.
- Judging at IPP37 in Paris, France, August 3-6, 2017.
- The Puzzlers' Award was selected by IPP attendees; all other prizes were selected by Judging Committee.
