Announcing the 2013 Competition
The Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition was established in 2001 to promote and recognize innovative new designs of mechanical puzzles. The thirteenth annual competition begins this year, with judging and awards at IPP33 (August 2013). See the full details using the following links.
The 2012 Competition Results
- 80 puzzles entered; the 2012 Competition Entries page includes images, descriptions, solutions and purchasing information, when available.
- Judging was at IPP32 in Washington DC, USA, August 9-12, 2012. The Puzzlers' Award selected by IPP attendees; all other prizes selected by Judging Committee. Click on images below for more information.
